Brittany's Graduation party!!!

Well, Brittany's graduation party came and went and I am soooooo happy it is over.. Dale and I took 3 days to prepare for this day. We had to mow the lawn (a 5 hour process), plant flowers and hostas (an hour process), making all the food (pretty much an all day process), setting up chairs and decorating. Not to mention all the running around town picking up everything for we needed for the party. Its amazing how much time is wasted getting ready for a shing ding. But for the most part everything went smoothly..

This is Pat and Dawn after finding out Isiah fell into the pond..

I am glad it is all in our past. Now, Dale and I can move on with our life, not certain where that will lead us, but on Tuesday we are leaving for Kansas.....

White birch candles...

Today, I made more of the birch candles and I think I am going to try to sell them on eBay. I think that they might sell; for Brittany came home last night and took one off the table and said, can I have one I absolutely love them. So needless to say I gave her one of the first ones made. She was very excited about it.
More pictures later this week on other birch items that I am making to sell on eBay. Wish me luck and I hope most of them sell..

White birch homemade candles

Today, I went out in the woods; cut down a white birch tree, went to the craft store; bought a drill bit and some tea candles and decided to make a craft. The tree was free, the drill bit was $2 and the tea candles were 100 for 99 cents. Results priceless. What do you think of the results???
