This Thursday I am thankful for hair dye because how else would you get a different color for your hair. I am also thankful for my husband because he treats me good and he knows how to bring up my spirtits when I am down...
Love is not about finding the right person, but creating a right relationship. It's not about how much love you have in the beginning but how much love you build till the end."

Changes in LIfe
I will be 31 years old this year and there will be many changes in my life. The past year has been many changes for dale and I we have a teenager living with us, what a change that is for Dale and I. So much drama, daily... What do you do when you don't know the answers to your own questions. How do you help some one who needs your help but you have no idea how to help her for you don't agree with what she is doing with her life. For she doesn't care what you think or what you have to say. How do you be a parent for a child who isn't yours? How do you guide her in the right direction when she doesn't give you the time of day. Why is life so hard. How can you pretend to respect someone who you really don't respect because they have not given you any reason to respect them. Why is it so hard to have trust in a relationship? Why cant trusting people come easier? Why are teens so messed up? Why can't families just get along? Why is my family so screwed up? Why are the rocks of the family so hard to come by? Why am I blogging this to the world, is it because I have nobody who will listen? Why cant I break down and cry? Why is crying for me so hard? Why are some girls soft like butterflies and some tough like Buffalo's? Why do I have to be a Buffalo, why can't I be a Buffafly or something? Why am I writing in circles, am I making any sense and why don't I care? Am I getting depressed, am I angry at the world or am I just crazy? I have no clue, I just have a head full of things to say. Am I searching for somewhere to go, a better place, a warmer climate, I don't know, do you?
QUOTES OF THE DAY!!
The secret to productive goal setting is establishing clearly defined goals, writing them down and then focusing on them several times a day with words and emotions as if we've already achieved them.
The winners in life think constantly in terms of "I can, I will, I am". Losers, on the other hand, concentrate their waking thoughts on what they should have done or on what they don't do.
*Denis Waitley
Decide what you want, decide what you are willing to exchange for it. Establish your priorities and go to work.

If you really want to do something, you'll find a way. If you don't, you'll find an excuse.

Conclusion to JOBS
THE CONCLUSION TO THIS IS THAT I DID NOT GET THE JOB IN THE OPERATING ROOM AT THE ASPIRUS CLINIC, BECAUSE SOMEONE IN HOUSE GOT THE JOB. AT THE INTERVIEW THEY SAID THEY WERE PLANNING ON FILLING THE JOB WITH AN IN HOUSE EMPLOYEE BEFORE TAKING AN OUT OF HOUSE EMPLOYEE, WHICH I AM GLAD THAT THEY ARE USING THERE OWN PEOPLE TO FILL THE POSTITIONS. SO NEEDLESS TO SAY, I AM STAYING AT SAINT MICHAELS HOSPITAL FOR A LITTLE WHILE LONGER.

JOBS!!
Do you like your job or do you dislike your job?? I am the type of person who likes my job but then in the same moment I hate my job. Don't get me wrong I absolutely love my career as being a nurse, but like every other job out there it has its moments. Well, I work a terrible swing shift 3 am -3 pm or 3pm to 3 am but only 3 days a week, it would be alright if it was every other week but it is literally every other day I am on a different shift and it makes it very hard to plan anything like sleep. My sleep schedule is so far off it is not even funny. Like I said I like my job but enough is enough already. So today I had an interview at Aspirus hospital in Wausua for there operating room position, there are pros and cons to this job, one is it is almost completely all day shifts (Extra plus), Higher pay, only one holiday a year is required, 8 hour days, and it is every 8th weekend on call. The cons would be that it is a whole weekend to be on call and need to spend the time in a hotel, further to drive, more days I need to work, and I would completely loose all my seniority in Ministry Health Care position. I am at lost for what I am supposed to do if I get the job, I want the job but there are so many things I have to think about when I make the final decision. Wish me luck in the next couple of weeks when I need to make a decision.

Are you an inside of the box or outside of the box thinker?
You are probably thinking what is she talking about, and where is she going with this post.
What is inside of the box vs outside of the box thinking? Inside of the box thinking is when you go on thinking like everyone else around you. When you sit around and complain about issues in your life and don't take any initiative to solve those problems on your own. You are also in the box if you sit around and help others complain about there issues in there lives as well. In the box thinkers, also hope their problems in life will go away on there own.
When you are an outside of the box thinker you associate with people who will help you solve the problem and you also know enough not to dwell on the issues you have in life. You take all the positive and grow, and you are not afraid of change. When you solve your own problems you know you are definitely out of the box. It takes awhile to get out of the box but once you are out of the box you are a better person because you don't self betrayal your self or betray others. I personally struggle every day to get out of the box, but in 2009, I will spend more time outside of the box, then inside of the box!!

Thankful Thursday!!
Every week I think about what I am thank full for, I guess this Thursday I am thankful for just being me! I am wacky at times, serious at times and I am all around fun to be around most of the time. I lived my whole life being jealous of all those popular girls and wondered how nice it would be to be popular like them. But now being all grown up, I am just happy being me!!

Faith
One of my new year resolutions was to build on my faith so here we go!!
To have faith is to defy logic. It takes faith to think positively. It takes faith to believe that there is a loving God who cares deeply about our pain. To believe in life, the universe, or yourself after numerous failures is to have courage. Faith is an act of courage. It is choosing to get up in the morning and face our fears and believe that God will help us. Faith is choosing to believe that even though we may have failed one hundred times before that we can succeed the next time.

Accomplishments of 2008!!
January started out with me graduating from nursing school and getting a new job as an RN and Dale going hard core with Internet sales.
February Dale and I decided that this is the year that We will start building our first DREAM home.
March was my 30Th birthday, YAHOO. We celebrated it like no other, Supper and a movie what a great time.
April we started getting bids for our house for electric, lumber, logs, pluming, and etc.
May was quite the month for Dale and I. We started the new home the second week in May, Dale had his 32nd birthday, all the drama started when Brittany moved in. Dale and I became parents to a seventeen year old girl who was lost in her self. I have to say she has come along way from where she was 7 months ago.
June building the house yet and broke and fractured my foot playing soccer with Brittany barefooted.
July the 4th was a blast, fireworks, rekindling our life together (Dale and I). Still building on the home. I got Brittany signed up in a Public school district.
August we placed our windows in our new home and started staining our logs for the house.
September back to school for Brittany, more drama started, Dale and I as parents started getting stricter and more rules were layed out for her to ponder on. We started putting on the log siding on our new home.
October we went to a leadership convention in Kentucky it was great food, great people and was great fun, We celebrated Dominic's 80th birthday, great food, family and fun.
November Dale and I learned to appreciate each other more with the holidays right around the what better time to share and appreciate our love that we share for each other.
December we learned that family is all we have and with out each other we have no one. Dale and I are very lucky to love each other the way that we do, we are like joined at the hip. When I go to work Dale is lost with out me at home, some day Both of us will be at home all the time and on vacation MONTHLY. Dale and I have many dreams and ideas for our future, with the new year I just hope for good health and for our relationship to continue to grow strong!

New Years Resolutions
This year I thought long and hard on what my New Years resolution should be, after thinking about it long and hard I thought that may be:
Weight loss, but its so over rated
Having a cleaner house, but the house is already clean
To exercise more, but why I probably won't anyways so I'd only put myself down.
To save more money, which we do; but we don't.
So I came up with a couple I thought were good for me; and they are:
To not complain so much about the little things in life.
To Forgive easier.
To Love more.
To have a greater belief in god and build on it.
To read more about life.
