Issues

Well for two and 1/2 weeks I have been exercising, 50 push ups and 50 sit-ups and elliptical machine for 20-30 minutes, and am a losing an ounce of weight?? No I am not I am staying the same, I only drink diet soda which makes my tongue feel funny, and I have been drinking my share of water and I have not lost one pound in 2 1/2 weeks. I have been eating a lot of grilled chicken on top of my salads for protein. What am I doing wrong? I think I have to start calorie counting or something. I don't eat anything after 730 pm at night. I have been eating a lot of apples and salads and I am starting to feel like a rabbit. We eat almost every meal at home due to my obsession with this weight loss thing. Do you have any suggestions for me to use while I am working out or even my eating issues?? I could use all the help I can get. Maybe I need a challenge. I don't know but ever since I hit 30, its been a sinking ship.. Thanks for listening to my drama!!
