Gas Prices :(

I went to town this morning to discover that gas here in Wisconsin ranges from $4.05 - 4.20 dollars a gallon for gas. I can remember when gas prices were 88 cents. Why are these gas prices so increasingly high from 2, 3, 4, 5 years ago. Is something going on no one knows about. Is some making money that shouldn't be making money. Is there extra hands in the pot which shouldn't be? All these questions are great but are they going to change the price per gallon that we are going or about to pay at the pumps. I think this is unrealistic, how can we be paying so much per gallon when here in United States we have our own oil if we would just use it. Why aren't we using our own natural resources. Where is our government going? Why should the average person have to spend that much on gas when the president doesn't have to? What's your thought on the increase in gas prices?? Any thoughts jot them down or just ponder my thoughts..
