The fourth of July!!

We all know that the fourth of July is just around the corner and we will be playing around with fireworks. Fireworks are awesomely beautiful but can be dangerous as well. Two years ago my brother had a nice party for the fourth of July. He had a pig roast which was going good until he started the fireworks. To say the least he was drinking some negative beverages before he started the fireworks parade. We were almost done with all the fireworks until we all heard an "OUCH" my brother burned the right side of his face. He had second degree burns on his right side of his face. He had many months of therapy which to this day he has not touched another firework and his face perfectly normal. Some one was watching out for him that day. I do believe the lord works in mysterious ways.
A little drinking and playing with fireworks do not blend together. So if you are going to have fireworks; stay away from negative beverages and play it safe and use your brain. You do not want to be on the other end of a firework because they are dangerous and can be fatal.
I recommend having the fuses all turned in the same direction; so when it is time to start them and it is dark you do not make a mistake and start the wrong end. Here are a list of rules to follow during this Fourth of July holiday.
1. Always read and follow label directions.
2. Have an adult present.
3. Buy from reliable sellers.
4. Use outdoors only.
5. Always have water handy (a garden hose and a bucket).
6. Never experiment or make your own fireworks.
7. Light only one firework at a time.
8. Never re-light a "dud" firework (wait 15 to 20 minutes and then soak it in a bucket of water).
9. Never give fireworks to small children.
10. If necessary, store fireworks in a cool, dry place.
11. Dispose of fireworks properly by soaking them in water and then disposing of them in your trash can.
12. Never throw or point fireworks at other people.
13. Never carry fireworks in your pocket.
14. Never shoot fireworks in metal or glass containers.
15. The shooter should always wear eye protection and never have any part of the body over the firework.
16. Stay away from illegal explosives.
ENJOY YOUR FIREWORKS SHOW AND STAY SAFE. REMEMBER SAFETY COMES FIRST. Never for get that you are the one that your kids and family are looking up to and with out you in there life who else can be there hero..
